Me again - after some tinkering, I found that you can make it work with multifarms, provided you are growing Carrots and/or potatoes as these don't go all forestcraft wibblywoo and output as normal carrots/potatoes, which are accepted by the bioreactor. It's now running my base.

I've built a Bio Reactor (the one on this page http://ftbwiki.org/BioReactor ) and if I were to throw in, say, oak saplings, it purees them happily into biofuel. However, if I give these saplings to a Multifarm set up as a managed arboretum and wait a while, it will eventually have sapling...
