    I'm not sure about nuke, but I am not, I'm running an AMD Athlon X2 3800+, 4gigs of ram and radeon 5770. I'm also running Windows 8. I just reinstalled Java (the 64bit version) I think I read on the reddit to maybe completely delete all versions of Java... If you have 6&7 installed there may...

    My computer isn't anywhere as good as yours but I'm also having the same issue. I can run Tekkit at 40-60 FPS even with 128x Sphax textures. But with FtB with vanilla textures I'm only getting a few FPS at a time, no matter what I seem to do. No idea why there is such a difference. I'm not home...
