Thanks, I ended up figuring it out before I saw the answers, i redownloaded packs etc and installed them to the DW pack instead of the mindcrack pack and it worked that way.

that not what i meant lol, i want all the mods from both packs working together, minus having both solar panels, i just want the advanced ones, so i disabled the compact and ran the modpack. it booted in, but i cant enter mystcraft ages :(

DW has compact solars while Mindcrack has advanced solars. Question, is there a way to get them all working with eachother, but only one solar panel mod? I have it working right except i crash when making a mystcraft age...

Any mod that adds more ores and more machines. I like setting up giant systems and having more types of insane amounts of ores in my chest. Anxious for Xycraft and Redpower, and would perhaps be interested in Metallurgy, but I haven't ever looked at it yet. Just seen advertising!

i got it fixed, just used the configs of IC2, NuclearControl, Gregtech, AdvancedMachines, and Buildcraft (all for mod compatibility that I don't quite understand how to fix otherwise) from the FTBBetaA pack. Also, i updated forestry in list too! k, updated

Ok, I will try that on mine, I didn't notice until you brought it to my attention. I will try your solution and see if it works :) Yes, I didn't explain it well in the tutorial thing, I put the updated ones in but they didn't work for me. If you have it working, then you a genius :)

I also think you can get blaze powder somehow through industrial centrifuge and add it to slime balls :) it takes a while to get the stuff though i think :(

Personally, I love it. Yes it has made my life alot harder, but it adds a feeling of complexity to the game. I force myself to use it, and have grown to like it! I cant just go and make a mass fabricator in the first day of playing :)

You must have replied as I was updating my post. I did actually put down the latest thermal expansion, however to note, it does work with 2.1.1 too!
