SatanicSanta is right about RAM. Increasing the RAM allocation for the server will make the server run more efficiently. For CPU memory it's different you will have to make sure that you are running a little programs as possible if you are going to run a server on your computer.

Maybe add a chunk loader to keep the area loaded even if you are away.

Are you using the recommended version? Or are you using a unstable version?

Make a folder, where the modpack folders are, and name it "Unleashed". Open the .zip and put the instMods and Minecraft folders in the Unleashed folder. then go to the launcher and put FTBUnleashed. It worked for me.

Maybe it's the texture pack?

Just go to the destination of where your ftb launcher is, usually the folders that hold the modpacks are in the same destination. Simply delete the folder that says "Ultimate", open the FTB launcher again and click FTB ultimate and click the version you used. It will redownload all the files...
