    Thanks! killing myself did the trick. I can now enter portals again. No idea what happened though. The chunkloading thing was mainly background info. For all I knew Flux Networks had a known bug with it, and that was the last thing I'd played with.

    Milkers can be bought from one of the NPCs, I think (but could be wrong) the blacksmith. Hemp is harvested with the sickle when fully grown. Use it on the top portion of the plant.

    I noticed that most infinite water sources were removed, including the water barrel from Pam's Harvestcraft. But the other three sources from Pam's (stone basin, clay barrel, and brick well) weren't. Was this an oversight or because they're a little harder to make?

    Mekanism 9 is now available for 1.9.4 and 1.10.2. Not on Curse yet, but the author said he's been working on that. EDIT: Not to self: make sure it works before posting. The 1.9.4 version, Mekanism-1.9.4-9.1.0.282.jar, is crashing my game during loading. Looks like something with MCMultipart.

    Try using a hoe/mattock on dirt not near water. I believe that you have a chance of getting seeds when using one on dirt that won't be irrigated by water, and thus won't become farmland.

    Just a guess, but do you have the Spawner level with the Conveyors? MFR Spawners need to be one level above MFR conveyors for the Spawners to work.

    As loboca said it's probably a chunkloading issue. MFR machines stop working if they're not chunkloaded, in the exact manner you described.
