    It decided to start working, I ended up repeating this process and uninstalling and reinstalling Java. Not sure exactly what I messed up the first time around but it's all working now. Thank you both for your help, you've been incredibly helpful! :D

    Ok that didn't work. Tried using the 1.4.7 versions like you suggested and same issue.

    I updated to the latest build of Mindcrack recently, after updating I received a Fatal Error message while FML was running before the game fully launched. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now I continue to either get that same message or the game crashes minuets after FML finishes.
