    I remember reading on the MCForums that comes down to an issue with iChun Utils along with the other two mods. I'm using Optifine C8 right now (with the aforementioned fix) and I'm not having this problem at all.

    Direwolf20 1.6.4 Optifine Won't Work

    I've just tried out the Optifine method used above along with FPS+ and my FPS raised by about 20 with the appropriate settings on the pack. I've went through mods that I know have/had issues with Optifine such as MPS, Ars Magica 2, and Tinker's Construct, and other things with custom rendering...
