Perhaps you're misreading me. I never said a powerful mod is something I do not like. Heheheh.

Vanilla is boring as hell, why do you think I'm here? TE is just super powerful in terms of usefulness and cost. The only thing it's missing is it's own quarry and with that I've got nearly all the boring stuff automated within that mod alone.

TE is so powerful it almost feels like cheating...
