I don't know if they can do that or not. But there's nothing like that happening. Every pipe or wire inside the loaded chunks do not exit the area.

I've been having an issue with all my biomass emptying from my system while I'm offline. And there's no evidence of the machines running or anything like that either. Just the biomass disappears (or is used by the engines but since nothing is running it's just wasted) I've noticed this happened...
