"This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0" Don't know the accuracy of that message box, but it is what is says.

I can't even run the launcher that is linked from the main page. Keeps complaining I need Java 1.6 installed and redirects me to Oracles download page. I am running AdoptOpenJDK 8.0.232 and I am not about to go back to Oracle. I have principles. :)

I found Twitch to be overly bloated for a Minecraft launcher. :) The only thing I really like about Twitch it is the ability to quickly browse mods on Curse and drop them into a pack as well as the general ease of updating the mods. If this ability were put into the FTB launcher...

Mod Feedback [1.12][1.11.2][1.10.2][1.8.9][1.7.10] Dynamic Surroundings Info/Support

The sound list that DS presents is generated from the sounds registered with Minecraft's Sound Manager. It is possible, however, for a mod to play sounds outside of the Minecraft sound engine, and DS would not be aware of it. Do you know what sound is playing? BTW, if you enable DS debug...

Can you post a link to your client log? I may offer some clues.

OK. I was able to run Revelations 2.6 successfully with all the mod updates you made. Not entirely sure what could be happening in your case. Here are some things to check that have caused issues with the BETAs especially when moving from the regular 3.4.10.x versions: Check your mods/1.12.2...

LOL. In the past OptiFine been a bit difficult where rendering is concerned. Which version of OptiFine? Also which version of the Revelations pack?

To be clear you are using the Revelations modpack with no additional mods beyond DS? EDIT: And which version of revelations?

I pushed updates this AM so that OreLib and the BETA Dynamic Surroundings is compatible with Forge 2768+. Not sure if this fits what you need.

Not too buggy. When it does break it breaks spectacularly. :D

Did you by chance try the latest BETAs and then revert back?

Mod Feedback [1.12][1.11.2][1.10.2][1.8.9][1.7.10] Dynamic Surroundings Info/Support

It's the latest RELEASE version. There are "newer" versions but they are BETA. The entries in the config you would be interested in are "Culled Sounds" (if the sound is being culled) or "Blocked Sounds" (if DS is to prevent playing the sound). Both these options are in the "sound"...

For 1.12.2 it is minecraft:entity.item.pickup. And if it occurs periodically it could be that it is being culled rather than blocked.
