Please could someone breifly catch me up on the significant new mods and updates that have come to be since August?

Hmm. Is his a good or bad thing? The thing I was looking forward to the most when returning to this community. Any notable new mods?

I haven't played Minecraft since early August. The last big thing that happened was TE4 being released. What's new since then? Any notable new mods updates or packs? Any modders "quit"? RedPower 3 released? What has gone on?

You still see problems like this all too often.

The big problem with this is still multiplayer - you'll struggle to find a decent server under these conditions. Also there is much more to modpack making than fixing IDs. You need to configure mods, set up HQM, oregen and so much more. This doesn't solve that problem. Thankfully we still have...

You can change them in the power table thingy.

And Tekkit.

It doesn't solve the multiple power systems, it actually worsens it. It means that more people will feel obliged to use Mek if they want to use a system outside of RF.

Are we just reposting updates now?
