i miswrote. i tried allocating less, it ran better but crashed. so what would the minimum ram needed be? and would a crash report help

im using windows defender, which i disable at launch. i have ftb set to 4.5 gigs of ram . should i try setting it to 6? because my ram says only 5.19 are usable

my friends are all able to connect to the server. so i do know it is not a server issue itself. it takes roughly 1 hour to 1 and a half hours to launch the game from the time i hit the play button in feed the beast launcher. this time is spent loading the mods, with 0 background process...
