Yup. Sphax is what I like to use. Usually has all the patched for most of the bigger named mods. Even if they don't have it, there is a request thread which is nice.

What version is your minecraft jar for that instance. If you have not downgraded to 1.2.5 beforehand then it would not be happy with a 1.3.2 jar. If you have downgraded then I don't know.

I think what he is referring to is a SMP version of the map. He likes to play with others and hopefully share the work. Plus another person's knowledge and expertise can make up for where you are lacking. Sometimes SSP is more or less lonely than boring.

Yes I like the sphax textures for the most part. Lapis is usually the exception in most of the texture packs I use. I am also glad that it has one of the biggest support bases for mods. By the way, what texture sizes do you guys usually go with? I can only handle 64 x 64. 128 x 128 gives me too...

Unfortunately I don't have it yet. I have the first one and played that quite a bit. Eventually I will get the second one though. It is on the list of games to eventually get.

Nope. I am too young to have seen that time. This thread did remind me of xcompwiz's stream today where he was doing coding so that he could get random spells, since he is the DM for the group he plays with. Looked quite interesting.
