You don't need to worry about height with windmills. Someone tested this fact. Needless to say, I'd just wire up a 16x16 array of solars

This was actually done on my older system with an AMD Athlon x4 640 (3.0ghz quad core), a radeon 6700 something (I've forgotten by now), and 3.25gb of usable memory (yes, this system is also only 32bit). My PC survived but the amount of entities on the ground after the explosion almost killed...

I wonder how you can get only the ores out though. I know IC2 Miners can do this, but it's rather tedious to do that. Wand of Equal Trade sounds like the best idea for this, even though it will take awhile to replace all the visible ores and dirt into stone for a 128x128x128 (or bigger) sphere.

Tested on a creative superflat tunneler's dream map. I think this, with some effort, would be a pretty neat place to live! Edit: I just went up the shaft I used to drop all 128 Nukes to the single spot and the red alloy wire is still there!!!

I think it would be funny to allow the quarry to go at unlimited speeds. It would be really funny to hook up 5 energy cells set to output 100 MJ/t and see the quarry do a 64x64 in less than an hour. Try building a sorting system that can handle THAT.

Why are you on FTB forums if you don't even like the idea behind it? P.S. I play other mods/packs aside from FTB. I like varying play styles. TerraFirmaCraft and FTB are basically opposite playing styles, yet I play both of them.

The point of playing on a server is to contribute ideas to other server members and help those who are not as knowledgeable on certain mods. I learned a lot playing on a server living with someone who knew a lot about forestry.

It's not a real feasable system if you have a room with 50 barrels :P If you want to fill them beforehand, put one item of what you want in the barrel, and use a certain item as a placeholder.

Plains, Meadows, etc any flat biome will do. I spawned a pains Mystcraft age and there were 3 silverwood trees and 2 greatwoods within 100 blocks.

To fully power one pulverizer and powered furnace, you could expand to 4 hobbyist engines.
