    Changed my graphics from the Intel to the Nvidea and now I get a good steady 40-50 fps. Thanks for the help!

    Yes, it does happen without optifine as well, I installed optifine hoping it would help increase FPS. http://pastebin.com/c6tNNC4p My laptop has a dedicated Intel 3000 and then Nvidea GT 540m.

    I'm on an alienware laptop with 8 gb of ram, I run the Yogs FTB pack with 3 gb of ram and I get about 5 fps, please help. I have optifine installed as well. Specs: Intel i3 Proccessor 1.3 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64 bit Windows 8, Dedicated Intel 3000 graphics and Nvidea 540 graphics Screenshots:
