    Just checked the code and that is exactly the case. Swampwoods = Sludgepit under the "biomes to generate". Will be fixed in the next release ;)

    I have used my config on SMP and it was working quite well. The only thing that didn't work as far as I remember was the portal back to overworld - had to use Mystcraft linking book to get back.
