In the config file under the biomes section you need to set the "Add Biomes to Default World" to true in order to spawn BOP biomes in a default world.

It's a private pack. You can type in 152wget to get the 1.5.2 pack with gregtech on the private section of the launcher. I can't remember what the code is for no gregtech though.

I would suggest Direwolf20's Forestry 2.0 Spotlight. It goes in depth on how the multi-farm works but I haven't seen it in a while so I'm not sure how relevant it is to your problem. EDIT: Link to video

The pollens are gathered by using the sieve on an Alveary. The sieve takes one woven silk and will collect pollen that bees gather from nearby tress. It holds up to four pollen and the woven silk is destroyed when the pollen is removed.
