IIRC there is a slight breeding mechanic to the deviating lilies. I can't remember exactly how it works, but if you grow two colors a block apart from each other, having them fully grown, if you place another seed in between, it has a chance of deviating and growing into a new color. Like black...

You could also put the tools in some sort of bag or something similar and just throw the bag into lava

If you have Immersive Engineering, you can pick up one of the Wooden Storage Crates in it's village building. They keep their items upon breaking so its a useful extra inventory while exploring

I think you can turn off the progression through a command in game. /gamerule tfEnforcedProgression true/false

Is there any way to change an ore's required mining level using mine/modtweaker? Googling hasn't come up with anything. I play with Iguana's Tinker Tweaks and there are some modded ores that I want to make harder
