[WIP] [1.6.4] [1.7.2 IN PROGRESS] MortTech

"You're probably saying "What!?" Okay let me explain, MortTech is like GregTech with out the pointless nerfing and ridiculous tedium" Wow, how rude.

    Would you build this?

Greg's reactor will be for a Stargate (to deep space) and some other sci-fi stuff, at least.

FTB Monster - What is the point of Uranium now?

Uranium 238 is terrible fuel for nuclear bombs :p Reinriched uranium is second best with about 500 explosion rating, with plutonium the best with 1900. The config Limits both to something like 60 explosion rating though. The full 64 plutonium with 64 ITNT gives an explosion a little bigger then...

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Explain? :p Its not like the recipes got THAT much more complicated. Refined iron cancels out the plates, but then you still have the occasional use of casings and wires, but its not particularly hard to figure out :P

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Oh no! A whole minute to make a single machine! >.> The Metal Former* maybe, but it is not tier one, where the forge hammer is.

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Its quicker to get 5 iron and make plates (Which, by the way, definitely does not take 10 seconds, more like 2. Try making the right amount BEFORE you start crafting the other stuff :p) then wait for refined iron to smelt (Well, early game, not late game), so it actually saves you time for a...

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Hmm? Why? I have no idea, it was greg who did that lol Also, obsidian dust?
  11. T

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Well, the first thing was the removal of refined iron. It didn't make sense and its recipe collided with many mods, making them incompatible. When that got removed, something was needed to make the recipes unique and non-clashing again (The wire recipes also clashed with several mods). The...

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

But... those are all good traits o.o Also, Surely making the game hard for people counts as trolling? :D

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

@AboveAboveAbove Exactly. I find it rather odd how people think that ore doubling is a NESSESARY part of the modded game nowadays. People seem to forget that it is BUFF. But hey, its not like there isn't a fuckton of iron ore underground anyway :p Oh yes, the *Metal Former, all its good for is...

Why do people like Thermal Expansion so much?

Greg added some speed code in the last version, so it should be much faster :p

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

IIRC, It will be more like IRL electricity, with Voltage, Amperage and Power. I think. Maybe.

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Cross breeding will eventually be completely redone anyway xD Well, mostly redone. I think.

Why do people like Thermal Expansion so much?

omfg te3 is so hax and op guh But seriously here, I can see why people chose TE, because it is much simpler than IC2, especially with a few cool planned changes to the nuclear system we (I say we, but I am allergic to java code) are planning. Its just a different play style really :p Besides...

    Mod Devs on Twitter

Well, Spell check is right about that :P Both Nucleum and Omnium are made up words based on greek and latin core roots. Hot damn, you are right, this forums quote system is much nicer then ours xD

    Mod Devs on Twitter

Gonna add me? :3 Also, it is "Nucleum-Omnium", not "Nucleum Osmium" ;p
