Could anyone tell me how to plant dye seeds? I crafted them on the runic altar, but can't seem to figure out how to plant them. I've tried planting on crops and on the blocks themselves of mycelium, red sand, dirt and garden soil with no luck.

Yup, looks like it's the natura saplings in general that don't work. Finally got an acacia sapling, finished the quest with no further hassles.

Yea, I've got quite a few saplings in my inventory now, and none of them seem to recognize. They're all from natura though, since that's all I seem to get from using the mutandis.
