    nvm, I just moved my save to the ftb launcher from the curse launcher, didnt realize curse wasnt up to date. It worked when i moved it over. Thanks anyway though!

    Is there an easier way to get coagulated blood rather than just jumping into your smeltery or getting monsters to jump in there (as I have not changed the biome as of yet) because its a slow process getting 6 coagulated blood this way?

    yep, the book has both iron and clay in it, but I just cannot pull the items from the transmutation tablet

    Yeah, I taught the book how to make iron and clay, but I cant pull out any iron nor clay from the transmutation tablet. I have the right amount of energy placed in the tablet, but it does not seem to work.

    Also I have tried placing the blood magic altar in the world and the texture does not seem to show, is there a reason for this by chance?

    So i was wondering how do we begin the Applied Energistic type stuff because I know you need certus quartz seeds but I am not seeing any way of getting essence in the quest line up yet.
