Yup the tin wire and molten rubber recipe was a "bug" and not actually intended.

Another good tip - use input hatches instead of canning machines (if you don't feel like it's an exploit). They work just well and without power.

Ok maybe I was rather liberal in my use of the phrase - meant to say heavy oil is the most valuable.

Something sounds wrong with your oil drilling rig - how much oil did the seismic prospector say was in that chunk? Another possibility is that you didn't chunkload the rig, which it will then run only when you're in the vicinity. BC oil is definitely easier to obtain, and is twice superior over...

As far as my own experience goes I haven't seen this issue yet. Usually the reason why I have multiple meta tools in the system is because I've autocrafted multiple recipes requiring the same time of tool simultaneously; it will then craft one for each recipe. I'm not sure if this is your issue...

There's also the super buffer, which can hold 256 stacks of anything. They're great to pair with a packager, and 256 different types of items is more than sufficient to cover all the types of tiny dusts. However, you can't see the inventory, but that shouldn't be a big problem. Also, regardless...

Perhaps the heat output for MOX cells has been doubled in by Jason? I don't play Infitech but I come here for advice/discussion as this is by far the most active GT forum.

Hey Blood (or anyone else who understands this works too), may I ask how do you get 3840 HU/s out of 4 quad MOX in here: http://imgur.com/a/h8n8t? My testing only seems to get 1920 HU/s, half of yours, at 55% heat.

Ah I forgot about that. I probably will still replicate my Pu-244 however, Blood's update to nuclear made it such that now I have an excess of 235 rather than 238.

U-235 is now the secondary by-product of uraninite and U-238 ore. There's also a HV centrifuge recipe to get 20% chance for a tiny pile of U-235 from a U-238 dust (and 2% chance for tiny pile of Pu-244), but I'm not sure why you would ever want to do that.

Each depleted MOX rod gives the 3 plutonium back and generates an extra tiny pile of plutonium. That's the same rate as a depleted uranium rod, which also produces one tiny pile of plutonium. Uranium rod needs: 6 ingots of U-238 + 1/3 ingot of U-235 Uranium rod produces: 1/9 ingot of Pu-244 + 4...

As far as I know you can't obtain plutonium 244 dust from processing of uranium ore alone. That was removed, together with naturally spawning plutonium 244 ore, quite a while back because it sort of made regular uranium rods useless. Replicating sounds like a good idea, as now I believe I'm at...

Just a question guys. How do you guys breed plutonium for your MOX fuel rods? It's my first time doing MOX reactors and it seems a little steep: each depleted uranium fuel rod gives a tiny pile of plutonium, while a MOX fuel rod requires 3 full plutonium ingots. That makes each MOX fuel rod...

For example, if you wanted to make an LuV motor, you have to first make the 'recipe'. As per NEI, place a data stick in the data orb slot in the scanner and then place an IV motor in the input slot. After the process is done you should end up with the data stick having the recipe to the LuV...

Would like to ask something. I finally started messing around with fluid reactors and cycling coolant cells, but I'm in a pinch. I don't understand how the fuzzy card works, no matter how much I've experimented with it. Could anyone kindly care to explain it? E.g. Most recently I tried using...

I believe I've seen a setup by @Joel Falk before where he wall-shared with three large turbines by stacking them on top of each other and placing the controller blocks on opposite sides so the connected textures don't conflict. Edit: found it. http://prntscr.com/b6yp21
