Well, I had already disabled quite a bit of the ores so that we would only have 1 of each type of ore. Overworld is already generated about 50k out, so I'm not going to completely sculpt the overworld until the next wipe.

Gotcha, I'm downloading DW20 server now so I can go look at his ore gen. I'll use that as my baseline for setting up my own configuration.

I do have a question though. I'm assuming that when dealing with ore generation it just looks in that directory and pulls all jsons right? So if I want to organize multiple jsons it by world, or by mod or whatever I could? There's no call to a specific filename or anything I guess I'm asking.

Not remotely acceptable. To say that the only way you can get something that a mod is supposed to be spawning is to use another mod, something is wrong with a mod somewhere. The Digital Miner can't mine them btw, we already tried. Again, the question isn't anything other than how do we set up...
