    You could use the BC-IC2 Crossover mod as well. The petrochemical generator can run of off MJ and it isn't expensive to craft, a generator some tanks, rubber, and treetaps.

    I kind of agree, on my let's play I am doing two cities, one with all the magical stuff and one with all the tech stuff, and they don't get to share resources. It makes for a lot more varied and interesting experience imho.

    Nope, it is all from merging. Any change in the aura generates flux, depleting it would only increase the flux. If it was smaller, and not half inside something I could build a box around it to contain the wisp, as I've done with smaller nodes.

    It is over max because it is eating every other node on the map. There seems to be some kind of diminishing returns thing or something so that the max doesn't go up by the full amount of the vis it gains.

    Be careful, you can over do it. I created a node that was about 800 strong, which was fine for a couple days. Then over the span of a couple of hours it ate six nodes, ones from hundreds of blocks away. All my poor golems were murdered by wisp and I require a stack of arrows and a double helping...

    Quarries accept a max of 500 MJ/t, but only after they have started digging. They use 2-32 MJ/t to move the arm, and 60 MJ to dig.

    BC/IC Power Conversion?

    The petrochemical generator in the BC-IC2 Crossover mod can convert MJ into EU. By default it is about 1:1, but you can change it in the config file.
