Did you go from the overworld, or the end? If you're still stuck, I suppose you could always copy a dimension into that slot... I'd recommend DIM100 being copied to 54, as it's the Deep Dark, and a portal from there will get you to the overworld, which has a port right back to the end where you...

As stated above, deleting or modifying your player.dat might help. Keep in mind HQM uses a different player.dat than is in your world folder (it's in world/hqm), so it could be loading your info from there as well, if deleting your main player.dat didn't work. Moving the HQM one might be better...
