    I had the exact same problem, try editing the .bat file and correcting the name of the Jar file it's trying to call.

    For some reason when I try to run a server, even though I'm not opped I can set my gamemode to creative but I can't spawn stuff in, I've tried changing several things in the configs. This is driving me crazy as there seems to be no rational reason why.

    Turns out it was all just because I hadn't changed the False to True in the Eula.txt document, they've added that since I last set up servers. 4 hours would have been saved with a simple notification... But it's working now and me and my friends can have fun :D

    Thanks, I've been trying to get it working for the past few hours - I thought it might be that I installed Java 8 and so cause compatibility issues, reinstalled Java 7 but nothing. Your suggestion makes sense as I also couldn't launch DireWolf20's pack server, I'll definitely try it. But...

    I'm trying to launch a server with the pack and it doesn't seem to be working, I noticed the .bat file was referring incorrectly to the FTB Jar file, so I changed that but it still isn't working...
