What does it mean "It doesn't work"? The server console refues to start? The server is opened but the client cannot connect? Did you add/remove/disable some mods? What have you made exactly? On which server are you trying to host it? Only if you gives us more information we can help you...

I think that Item Detector + RP Tubes is the best solution, as Komirne says.

Yes, this is one of the new doungeons recently added by Azanor. The blocks they're made of will be very usefull if you plan to manipulate the aura nodes (at least according to the last DW20 Thaumcraft 3 Spotlight)

I don't think this list exist. However, I think you should avoid those type of EMC generator that produces a lot in a very short time (examples: dark room, milk buckets + cows, mushrooms stew + mushroom cows etc).

Use MFFS then. I've already made one using Force Fields :) (safe but not cheap)
