If you have Magic Bees installed get yourself some Necrotic Frames. With 3 frames installed the life time of the bee is reduced to a single cycle (about 20 seconds). This really speeds up cross breeding and gene stabilization.

How large is your capacitor bank? If I remember correctly the max IN/OUT is 10% of the banks size.

You are wrong about already placed ones not expiring. I upgraded from FTB Infinity 1.6.2 to 1.8.2 and lost a field of Dayblooms.

Just upgraded from 1.6.2 to 1.8.2, field of (approx 10) dayblooms has disappeared. Single Player, been in the upgraded session for about 10 mins when I noticed.
