I have the exact same problem - can't get a crash log as the console disappears with the crash. Have tried deleting all instances, still doesn't work. Re-installed the Launcher, still didn't work. Horizons and magic farm 2 both launch with no problems.

No worries. I know that when mod devs get sent crash reports etc, if they see Optifine is installed, they will normally just respond with disable Optifine - because 99% of the time that is the problem!

Any problems that happen in ftb/minecraft and you have Optifine installed, 9 times out of 10 it will be because of Optifine. Disable Optifine and I would bet that will sort it :p

That's what wiki's are for. Vanilla Minecraft has no in-game explanations, we all had to go to the wiki or watch tutorials on how to craft anything.

Yes you can, but the problem is getting the AE network to send 1 silver and 1 gold at the same time. I think I have worked it out in a creative world, so I will post my solution later!

I'm glad they are adding this, but TE still has the upper hand for me. Also .... updating & modernizing their vanilla textures would make a world of difference!

Is anyone else having problems in the No GregTech pack with Villages spawning? I have gone into creative mode any flown around in about 5 worlds for at least 5 minutes each and have found no villages at all. I have added biomes o plenty, but I have checked the configs and they are all fine...

Thank you for the quick response! Strangely, all of the options were disabled (IC2, GT and TE) - so I put TE on. All sorted :)

I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem - in the beta 1.5.2ngt pack, none of the MPS recipes are showing up in NEI. I have made sure I have the most up-to-date versions of both mods. Any ideas for a fix? The website doesn't have the complete list of recipes either!
