I've tried playing without optifine and it's pretty good, except when i'm on lan and trying to load up new chunks.

I wonder if this will work through lan, if i delete the file on both laptops before use.

I haven't played on ftb for a while and i was wondering if we're able to use Optifine on the new packs yet? I can't really play on my laptop without it. Thanks.

I'm okay with this. Also, is there or will there ever be a place where you can upload/download custom modpacks? Tekkit has a similar feature on their website and i would love to see some the custom packs that people have put together (with mod pack permissions of course).
