    The "Water Production" quest isn't working for me, I have a QDS set to the correct task and I have aqueous accumulators feeding water into the QDS, but the quest still shows 0 water. Anyone else have this problem? Edit: I also need netherrack to get a magma crucible but the nether is empty...

    Nice base! What did you use to push back the tainted land? Looks like you used the biome terraformer? Also I never thought of putting the Infusion Altar 1 block underground, makes it so much easier to walk around it!

    RIP my latest hardcore world.. about 15 hours put into it, I died to an infernal zombie, with a hint of carelessness and a dash of panic. "Hubris" is a very fitting name for this modpack! I had almost everything researched in Thaumcraft and was pretty close to defeating Hardcore mode itself :(

    I dislike TF to the point I dont even enter the portals when I see them. It feels too cheaty to me.

    Does the ore removal in TF include ore generation in hills and hydra caves? Because thats the primary reason I dont like TF. those hills just have stacks of ores in them and the challenge to get to them is negligible. Heck with a magic map you can just seek them out and end up with chests full...

    Not that I know of. Automagy has a "Thirsty Tank", I haven't made one yet though. Also, I think you can use Thaumcraft's Arcane Spa to place liquids in the world automatically, including essence. Might want to try that.

    Ender Tanks are the only thing I can think of that is in the pack. You can use a decanting golem with a Perdito upgrade to empty essence pools into an ender tank (just make sure they're safe from mobs and/or taint damage) but I think you will have to remove the essence manually. Have you tried...

    If you have a ton of other shards there is a recipe in Thaumic Horizons to turn balanced shards back into a specific shard. If you really need fire shards that could help.

    In the early game, you just have to deal with it unfortunately. Later on you have multiple ways to clear taint and the taint biome through Thaumcraft. I suggest mining far away from your base as that way the caves will be freshly generated and won't be completely full of taint. Taint only...

    Witching gadgets. The addon also adds a way to turn that cobble into gravel or sand, which means infinite flint and glass to turn into essentia. Combine that with Automagy and you'll scoff at those who say Thaumcraft has no automation :) On that note, I'd really like to see a skyblock modpack...

    I kind of wish there was a magic version of iChun's Sync mod. Like a thaumcraft / blood magic addon or something. I refuse to play on anything less than Hardcore and I've lost something like 30 worlds now! :confused:
