Just for reference i just ran the launcher again but this time selected the Monsters mod pack, Downloaded the content and launched the game. Create a new world and it loaded up. I collected a little wood to begin my new adventure and then it crashed. This to me shows it is not the direwolf pack...

I have the same issue and just tried your advice Tristam, By disabling those 2 mods it deleted my world. and now i can't even get the game to load up on a new world.
