    Ghast Grinder

I don't think there's any nerfing going on, but I think that's just the spawn rate. Tier 5 is 6 mobs every 2 seconds. But mobs don't spawn if they don't have a valid spawn point. The key is: There's a higher probability of spawning nearest to the Soul Cage (it's weighted, I believe, much...

T5 Endermen Spawner but how to kill them

Yup, and Blaze Spawners are like candy in the Nether. You can right-click enough of them to have a T5 one in about an hour (providing you have a jetpack). But yeah, if you're bored, make a Gravisuit. Collect 8 stacks of rich slag through mining all the ore required (like 11 stacks of Tin and...

    Mac mini hd 4000?

The i7 configuration is $799. The i5 is $599. Sometimes you can find refurbs for $499 or $549. But any way you find it, you're paying a $300-500 premium for the size and OS X. That said, Mac Minis pack A LOT of horsepower in the small size. They are by no means poorly engineered devices.

    Mac mini hd 4000?

Honestly, I think you'll be fine. HD4000 isn't great, but it's no slouch. Notebooks, which typically end up being under-clocked, manage 30 FPS on Minecraft. And they're usually not running @ full graphics speed (usually under-clocked due to thermal throttling)...

T5 Endermen Spawner but how to kill them

Honestly, just get your XP from a traditional Skeleton or Zombie spawner. Far easier to get a T5 one with those. Loot will still drop from Endermen if they die from Quicksand. Endermen give the same amount of XP as Zombies and Skeletons. They all give 5.

    Stories Full of Win

Yeah, I think Vile Swords have wicked enchantability score. Definite above gold. My first LV30 Vile sword got: Sharpness IV Soul Steeler IV Vorpal II Disjunction III

What Looks Better? (Your Personal Opinion)

The other advantage of CF is that it is 100% creeper-grade blast proof. Marble/basalt brick are only blast resistant. Found that out the hard way after a creeper blew up on my marble brick walkway and destroyed 2 blocks (still a lot better than a giant hole). Also had a creeper blow up on...

    Ghasts firing at something?

Maybe it glitch-spawned in a cave where it suffocated?

    Mystcraft -Dense Ores

Dense Ores is broken for me on Mindcrack (added it from DW20). Every time I add the symbol, it gets removed from the book for some strange reason. Anyone encounter this?

    So I have a problem.

Ah, I forgot about turrets firing through Portals (by default). That could be a huge advantage if wisps cannot see through portals. Just put a Turret somewhere with a portal in front of it and fire portals around the room. You can fire portals everywhere, floor, walls, ceiling, etc. I think...

    So I have a problem.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of stuff was stripped out. Not sure if you can add it in to alter the settings. Also, IIRC portal turrets can fire through Iron Bars, so you can use those to protect them. Make a cage.

    So I have a problem.

Yeah, they are pretty weak, health-wise. You want to keep the portal turret far, far away. In Beta A they had a ridiculous 40 block firing range. And, once they start firing, they have a high knock-back value, so the wisps probably wouldn't get close. IIRC, if you grab one with a...

    So I have a problem.

I would think so, but don't wisps do ranged attacks? I wouldn't think the golems would fare very well. Portal turrets would honestly work the best. Their firing range is extreme.

Do players actually like emulated computers in minecraft?

Yeah, but the language is increasingly being used for rapid-prototyping applications, since it's easy to write modules in C and do high-level code in Python. I'll agree its a poorly built language, but it's useful.

What Looks Better? (Your Personal Opinion)

Construction Foam allows you to embed IC2 wiring inside it. Very useful for hiding wires. Also useful for powering machines, since you can make powered floor and set down a machine and voila, it has power. I wish it worked on Tubes and BC Pipe too.

    Logic Matrix Programmer

If it were an exploit, it would be fixed. This has existed since 1.0 (2 years). It has long since become a feature. Nobody disagrees using dungeon chests is a lame way to get the Logic Matrix. But it's what the mod author programmed. If you don't like it, don't use the mod.

    Logic Matrix Programmer

THIS. The one time I tried to use a Router, it was to feed stuff into a bank of Macerators, then have another router collect the output and feed it to a chest. I couldn't get the wretched thing to work properly. The Machine Filter won't recognize Macerators. But yeah, Dungeons aren't...

Do players actually like emulated computers in minecraft?

Oh please. You must be joking. Lua is actually more modern than Perl, and is about the same age as Perl and PHP. Further, it's a far less complex language that is more processor-friendly. Minecraft is laggy enough the way it is. You want a language with a very strong syntax so there is less...

    Forge Lexicon

Perhaps. But it takes _a lot_ of track to do anything worthwhile, and if anything the 64 track recipe encourages / revives traditional vanilla transportation. Heck, I spent 3 stacks of track building a minecart "stairwell" so people could get to my house (z75 to z120). Otherwise everyone...

    Forge Lexicon

This thing is awesome! What have you used it for? Mine is converting Railcraft Steel to Traincraft Steel and then using the Traincraft track recipe to make 64 track with 6 ingots. Traincraft Steel really doesn't require more raw materials, but the recipe is complex as balls.... I suppose...
