These bees are broken. :mad: So my 4x 4x forest winter princess I put in with a forest winter 4x 4x drone. What do I get? A common winter 2x 4x. Why isn't this working????? :mad:

RIGHT! I'm beginning to lose the will to live with these stupid bees!!! :D OK, I just got another pure winter princess and then found a forest winter hybrid drone with 4x and 3x on it. I've just bred those 2 with soul frames and I've got now a forest winter hybrid princess 4x 4x, yay! :D...

Hmm. I don't understand this then. I had a winter forest hybrid princess with 4x 4x on it (not hard to do of course) and managed to make that into a pure forest princess but I lost the 4x 4x to 3x 3x. If the drones' traits don't affect the queen then why has it not stayed at 4x 4x ? :confused:

Another question!! So I've been breeding a forest princess and winters again (just while I breed a bunch of pure drones in my other apiaries to get started properly). I had 4x 4x winter forest hybrid princess and I've now made it into a pure forest princess by breeding it with pure forest...

.. a good level.dat editing program please? I want to move the server spawn. I have tried NBTedit but I get a tag 101 error when trying to open my level.dat. Also tried NBTexplorer but all I get is a blank white window when I open the .dat. Thanks.

Thanks to you both, that is really helpful. I've just discovered I've lost both my common and cultivated princesses somehow, probably frikkin Tropical hybrids again :mad:, so am going to have to start from scratch and follow your guides. Regarding the winter ones, I'm already ahead of you...

Ako, what exactly did you "turn off" ? Do you mean you turned off import/export bus functionality altogether or something else? I won't be able to automatically process ores into ingots without them.

Greatwood logs placed sideways, but alternated directions every block makes for a nice looking floor pattern. Also, redrock bricks + basalt brick skirting for walls + re-inforced stone floor makes for a nice looking base. Concrete and smooth stone chequer makes a nice looking floor too ...

Does anyone else get heavy frame rate drops when AE import/export buses are running? I only get about 25 fps max anyway, but when the buses are running it kills my fps down nearly to single figures. It's not constant, more akin to the lag spikes you get from the lighting update on RP timers...

OK. Trying to get my head round these stupid bees again. I'm trying to get some pure industrial bees for tree pollination. Last time I tried I got as far as cultivated, but then it all went wrong and I wound up back with tropicals!! I read from someone that it's best to get fertility 4 on...

1st has got to be AlgorithmX for me, for the simple reason that AE does everything (well, 95%) that RP and BC fail at. Awesome mod and modder. 2nd has got to be shy MachineMuse for the power suits. :)

I have just learned the hard way not to do bee breeding with excited bees and tree breeding at the same time... To say I'm just a little bit mad that I've lost all my fancy trees and saplings would be quite the understatement. :mad:

I'm trying to start breeding trees but my bees won't do anything. I've got some pure nobles running and I have 2x vanilla oak trees just outside the glass enclosure that the apiaries are in. The trunks of the trees are 3 horizontal spaces away from each apiary and the bottom of the tree canopy...

Ah, my apologies folks... Turns out LCONTROL + LSHIFT does work after all, BUT... not on AE inventories, which is where I was trying it (ME access terminal, specifically). Just tried it on a chest and it works just fine. :cool:

I don't think we're talking about the same thing here. He is talking about just moving ONE stack at a time, which everyone knows is done by shift click. What I'm talking about is moving ALL stacks of the same item in one click. Shift + CTRL + left click doesn't do that, it just acts the same...

Doesn't do anything. Just works the same as normal shift click, ie. 1 stack at a time. Edit: Read the later posts here now. It's not only for 1.5 because he's doing this in his normal LP which is still 1.4.7 so there must be a way of doing it in the current DW20 modpack.
