    Okay, this is a weird one. It seems like a block of grass has glitched out xD. Try doing what moasseman said. If not, try killing all entities via the server console.

    The block in question is a flowing water block lavarthan. It seems it's been glitched out or something :(. Try opening up your world in MCEdit, and while ignoring the purple blocks, go to (-782,25,1853) and delete that entire chunk.

    Are you using a mac or a windows computer? Have you tried launching it with more RAM? Try UNINSTALLING ALL of your Java builds and reinstalling them. Also try using java 6.

    Well, there was a complete config rewrite for 1.5.2 a while ago. First, I need you to test with just the out-of-the-box server on the launcher. That SHOULD work.

    Okay, I'm trying to create a stable mystcraft void age for my server. What pages I need is void(obviously), mushroomisland biome, endless night, and no weather. That's it. I've been having troubles writing it, and I thought you nice people of the FTB forums could help :)

    Can you post a link to a pastebin of the logs for the launcher and the client? Possibly the server aswell if you can do that.

    I used Avast in the past and I have nothing against it. I would recommend for the OP to try it out aswell.

    From my experience with bouncycastle errors, do you have -XX:MaxPermSize=128m in your additional Java Paramaters under advanced options on the options tab? Try adding that if not.

    Blocks that emit redstone signal

    I can't think of any except the Redstone Block that vanilla adds in 1.5, but is there any existing block that emits a redstone signal constantly in 1.4.7? I know this a dumb question but I cannot think of anything today.
