    Disappointed

Which one produces more fuel per sapling is not the issue I'm concerned about. Plant matter to biofuel efficiency is just a matter of more farmland which I have plenty of room for. It's which one consumes more power that I'm concerned about because I've already partitioned off my base and have...

    Disappointed

Because I'm creating biofuel to create power. Forestry stills/fermenters directly cut into the bottom line while MFR Bioreactors do not.

Biofuel was around far before the bioreactor. Of course it is. You convert the power into Laser Drill ore, UU Matter, and AE autocrafting. You then use those resources to make more resource generators and get unlimited, exponentially increasing resources.

    Disappointed

A force engine throttled by milk produces 300,000 MJ per biofuel while a steam boiler produces 145,000 to 180,000 MJ per biofuel depending on how well you stagger the fuel. However, the Steam Boiler has the advantage of being able to produce both MJs and EUs, and of being more compact, and of...

    Disappointed

Because that's the challenge I enjoy.

    Disappointed

Because it's more work for less gain.

They both do the exact same thing except the MFR ones have no power cost, process items instantly, require no secondary inputs, and have better efficiency. They're also easier to make, and can process items that are easier to get. They're better in every possible way. There's not even an attempt...

    Disappointed

I just did a bunch of calculations to determine how many Forestry fermenters and stills I'd need to power a bunch of steam boilers, then I noticed the MFR Bio-reactor, which is 10 times better than fermenters and stills. Now I'm bummed out because an interesting challenge was blown out of the...

OOOOOooo yeah I could try making a Power drill for its 3x3 mining feature.

What's an easy way to clear out large swathes of earth, apart from a quarry?

Huh. I never noticed you had to put the power into the Controller. I just happened to do so without realizing it was necessary.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

I want to run IC2 wires through an area that I plan to stick an AE Molecular Assembler Chamber in. I initially thought I could use an ME Power Relay to use my ME Network to transfer the EUs, but it doesn't seem to work that way. What is the purpose of the Power Relay then, and is there any way...

    Thermal Expansion Status

Are you talking about Vis? You're considering what would happen if Vis were interchangeable with BC Power? FYI Greg already made an engine that converts Vis to EUs, and it doesn't really diminish anything. All it really does is give you the potential to screw yourself by draining up all the Vis...

    Lava Powered Steam Boilers

Is there any alternative to nether lava that could produce enough lava to keep up with a steam boiler? Lava crucibles cost more power than they produce, except when processing blaze rods, in which case the crucible consumes about 90% of what the steam boiler would produce. I don't think there...

Chunk Loader or World Anchor (servers)

You could allow Quarries, Ender-thermic pumps, and Spot Loaders, then institute a limit on how many chunks a player can have loaded at once.

Getting the most out of your ME Network

Instead of a bunch of import busses, I have one import bus attached to a diamond locked ender chest. All of my other things just dump their stuff into diamond locked ender chests in order to return items to the network.

How Does Thaumcraft Node Vis Transfer Work?

I'm trying to figure out how large/far apart Thaumcraft nodes have to be to share vis with one another. So I have some questions. 1. How close/large does a node have to be to transfer Vis to another node? 2. How close/large does a node have to be to receive Vis from another node? 3. Are 1 and...

    My Force Trees Are Dying!

Nope. There are no bees in my base.

    My Force Trees Are Dying!

I have three natural force trees that have lost all but two branches. Strangely, one of them has a detatched branch but doesn't seem to care...for now.

    My Force Trees Are Dying!

All my leaves are attached to Force Logs or other Force leaves. I've tried both light and darkness and neither option worked. The leaves still continued to decay.
