concreate(sp) can handle a creeper blast right ontop of it, and can also handle a combustion enginee blowing up without tanking a scratch

portal gun works great, you just gotta align them correctly. so get it close to where you want it, then set it down, walk around it till you get the picture facing you, then turn so you get it in the right spot.

With all the mods in the beta pack, is there something that works better then Torches or Glowstone for a light source? Maybe a "flood-light" type thing?

I did go ahead and slap on the solar engine as well as the fertilizer I just want to see if it can gather vanilla wood for us while we build some fun projects without having to worry about resources :) It really bites to be in the mids of something and have to go get wood for a piston or 20...
