Off-topic: Has the FTB team considered a server side program - that acts like the FTB client program? (meaning you stop your server; launch the program - it downloads the updated mod packs - and then kicks off the server again....) I'd love to see that.

Then stick with 1.4.7 - you won't need to worry about it. You want to upgrade to the latest version, you gotta wait till it's released. It's that simple. FTB doesn't write the mods; they tweak the configurations to make sure there is compatibility. So ie. Mojang releases 1.6; THEN the mod...

Awesome - I can live with that. I personally really want EBXL 4.0 anyway (it's still in development) :) (They're going to add code so you can put a 'weight' on biomes (hurray for being able to tell the generator 'stop with all the damn snow biomes!') :)

Will these include all the 'missing mods' that weren't in the others? (like either Biomes of Plenty/Extra Biomes XL, Inventory Tweaks, Mini-maps, etc...); That's the only problem I've seen with the lower versions in all honesty (I personally haven't encountered any bugs....)

You won't necessarily lose buildings - unless of course you delete the world folder (whatever you named it). But, if you're using say EBXL (from FTB for 1.4.7) and you use the EBXL for 1.5.2; you'll have zone tearing in unexplored chunks (when it suddenly goes from desert to mountain, and...

Any chance you'll convert your other mods (like for Extra Biomes XL)? I decided to give it a try (still wish it were 64 - but hey) :) But I've added a few mods you didn't have in the pack (and it looks like you did convert them for 1.4.7 and such)

So build the server yourself? It's not that hard. Get the minecraft.jar file from minecraft.net - download forge - add the forge files into the minecraft.jar - pop it on your server; and start it. After it's set everything up; shut it back down - and add whatever mods you want into the mods...
