If you want to automate it with containers, you would just need to include a liquid transposer hooked up to some pipes leading to the engines. The liquid transposer will empty the containers into the pipes.

I would assume you could beg/borrow/steal (Don't recommend the last one =P) some drones from another player to try to cross breed a different princess into one. Or alternatively use the extra bee machines to extract the trait to inject into a princess. I've only just started with extra bees...

I think you could also dump the 4 redstone engines and replace with an energy tesseract. I haven't tested it yet, but I would think it would work since it is MJs. That gets your setup to 4 blocks: Pump, liquid tesseract, energy tesseract, chunk loader. =P Now to invent an all-in-one tesseact...

You could always use the emerald pipe with an autarchic gate that feeds into a RP relay. That would act sort of like a filter. It'd also take up the same amount of space since you would need a filter and a timer to automate the pulling where you could also use an emerald pipe and relay. Gets...

Did you walk away from the quarry? The quarry itself acts as a chunk loader, but it's possible it could be right at the edge and your engines are in the chunk but some piping is not. When you walk away, the chunk with the piping unloads, but the engines continue to run but have no path to send...
