Your last sentence shows you got it. "Why don't you just..." is not the kind of reason one can follow in a sandbox style game. In theory "I could just" give myself creative power cells with creative tanks and go to town. I could remove several quality of life mods from my game at that rate too...

My base is primarily powered by mob essence and gunpowder via a mob grinder. The secondary power is cakes. The emergency/high demand power is from a BigReactor unit and wither generator. I'm working on transitioning the primary and secondary to just ender pearl power via lillies on endercores...

Specifically with doors. If you put them on backwards so they are "closed" when in the open state, then redstone can't open it. People will get confused when trying to break in with redstone. Good for adventure maps.

Proper redstone security relies on a low signal not a high signal. Can't negate a redstone signal output as easily as you can spoof a true signal.

Does it OreDictionary to GT osmium? I was positive Greggy wouldn't allow something like that to happen. Aluminium from mindcrack 1.4.7 comes to mind.
