I'm guessing you've had no response so far because your subject line contains the name of another modpack that has its own forum. FTB doesn't support other modpacks.

I'm using my phone, so it's a bit awkward to search then copy and paste link for you, but if you search in the forums for "tree breeding" you should be able to find a couple of threads packed with information that will help you.

I had one the way Omicron describes in the past, it works very well.

Standard methods appear to be making the config files downloadable/distributing those by another method, as they're just text files.

The server might be set up to only chunk load when the player is online. Eta it's my experience that this (somehow) causes some things to load but not others. I had a similar experience, and we now stop our server when we're not playing. Sorry for the vague explanation but I haven't done any...
