Personally I think that sanity drops too fast. I get back down to the level where all the good stuff spawns and I only have time to find and mine one or two things before I NEED TO RUN back to the surface and wait a few minutes for my sanity to recover.

I'm talking about also in NEI. According to NEI gray anti-blocks decompose into different things than white ones.

The white anti-blocks give different things when decomposed than the gray ones. Is that intentional?

Crash report for ME-1! I was putting in some anti-material into the chemical decomposer. That's two things that cause a time-out style crash, looking for recipies for sucrose and decomposing anti-material Edit: Now the A-M works in the decomposer... Maybe it's just MineChem not liking some...

Also, why is it that when I'm in my regular inventory all the anti-material blocks turn a shade of purple?

It's probably not HQM, Chisel, or the lore mod (Chisel because most of the modpacks I play with include chisel and they don't have that issue, lore and HQM for similar reasons to chisel)

Try unplugging and plugging in the computer repair logic. Works 99% of the time.
