Several mods add uses for a fluid xp. Open blocks autoanvil/enchanter/xp bottler. Minefactory reloaded adds a bunch. Liquid XP is a whole mod based around it. Or you could just use the essence and store it in a Dartcraft experience tome.

If you think that you can obtain or create enough oil/fuel, then a steam boiler would create vast amounts of energy. Just remember that a boiler needs a constant supply, it's not something you want to turn on and off because that will eat up more fuel.

As an idea for possible mob grinder build. Until you get a division sigil and create a curse earth spawner, remember that Rotarycraft adds a bedrock pickaxe that can pick up mob spawners. ;)

Taint will spread across any biome unless stopped. Taint will change the biome. Silverwoods stop taint with an area like an aura. Shimmerleaf does nothing to taint, you want the Etherial Bloom through thaumcraft research. I havent found any tainted nodes yet so I'm not sure, but I imagine that...
