What's new in modded minecraft today?

Greg will continue to have his changes to vanilla, if that's what you mean.

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Many people, myself included, enjoy the changes they have been making. Also, if this is refering to the incomplete features such as the E-Net changes, remember that this is an experimental build. Specifically the E-net changes were basically just them testing things for a future rewrite, which...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Well, there's only so much you can do with 16x16 textures on a cube... I suppose I might take a stab at giving Greg some better textures once he updates and I know what I'll be dealing with. but anyway, that snide little comment I made was supposed to be the most minor part of that post. :P...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Personally, I like his textures. They may not be Thaumcraft-level OMGSOPRETTY, but they fit together quite nicely, and convey what they're supposed to. Besides, his mod isn't really intended to be pretty.

What's new in modded minecraft today?

So, Greg is apparently finally making his move away from IC2 and towards being a standalone mod. He has stated that he has made his own version of the E-Net specifically for Gregtech, and has been showing off quite a bit of the new stuff he's been making: (Spoiler'd because images) He's also...

    Mekanism: Feature Request Thread

Something I would like to see in this mod: Block Breakers and Block Placers. I was thinking that there could be three tiers of them: A simple, low-tech one, that simply places/breaks one block in front of it when it receives a redstone pulse. And that's about it. Tier two would require power...

Mekanism 6.1 Update Picture-through (and the changelog)

Is there an updated wiki or similar source of info for Mekanism?

Just going to mention that the thousands of entities you heard about was most likely reffering to the fusion circle itself. Honestly, you should only need one of those in an entire server, as that one reactor can suppose enough energy for 20+ large bases. (5-10 million RF/t+, with theoretically...

    Would you build this?

Well, yeah. You basically just stated why a lot of people complain about RoC: It takes a sizable amount of system resources, especially compared to other mods. The rendering might not be the main issue, though it does represent it pretty well.

    Would you build this?

You are aware that, on a server, there is only one CPU, while every individual player has a GPU? High CPU use on a server is worse then high GPU use, as now instead of affecting just one player you're affecting the whole server. Unless I'm horribly mistaken somewhere?

Changing two liquids of the same type into one another.

Yeah, whachoo talkin' 'bout? The assembler is amazing, I use them a lot. The only thing I wish they would do is make it so they can have multiple recipes they'll check for at the same time...

Changing two liquids of the same type into one another.

Yes, he does add his own HSLA steel. I am very sure about it, mainly because it shows up even without Rotarycraft installed, and also NEI says it comes from Gregtech. Also, it would be nice if you could add oredict support, though I know that it may be non-trivial to and, if so, it's really not...

Changing two liquids of the same type into one another.

This is true. RoC and ReC would probably be better, if we could get those popularized...

Remember that IC2 does not give two shits about realism. The justification for pretty much everything in the mod, and I very likely quote Alblaka's response directly, is "HAYOOO!!!"

Changing two liquids of the same type into one another.

This is interesting, is this for the up-coming 1.7 release of Gregtech? I am definitely excited about the idea of my two favorite mods adding cross-mod compatibility with eachother... EDIT: Oh, and while we're on the subject of Greg adding his own HSLA steel, do your recipes use the oredict...

Fair enough, then... Just curious, do you happen to know how much tolerance there is in a real-world fusion reactor?

Changing two liquids of the same type into one another.

It would also probably throw around a lot of dirt, which the plants need to be undisturbed to grow, plus most if not all plants would likely be severely stunted if not outright killed by such winds applied 24/7, especially during their early developmental stages. Also, the problems with things...
