why are you trying to run version 3 when the mindcrack pack is on version 6?

That just means there is a version mismatch between the client and the server, how this is i don't know but try updating everything both the server and client because there has been several updates during the past few days and one or the other is probably an old version of the mod pack.

you can it is called an Interdimensional barrel upgrade i think. once you make it you just right click on the barrel you want to have it and the barrel texture will change slightly and your barrel can now hold 1024 stacks of a single item.

by you only have on gigabyte do you mean on the server computer or that is what is allocated atm. One gig of ram should be enough as long as there isn't more than say 4 people on in different locations all doing their own thing.
