I just tried adding Rei's Minimap to this modpack, but unfortunately all I get is a black screen. Anyone else have any luck? [EDIT] Never mind, got it. I added it wrongly, as well as the wrong version... Oops.

Just out of curiosity, if I install an incomplete texture pack, or one of the mods isn't covered yet, does the item show up in the world with the default texture, or is it missing altogether in the game world?

I watched the video, and it was simple enough to follow. However, does this not require OptiFine or MCPatcher (or something else) as well?

Uh, no there hasn't been any such listed in this thread. There's a list of which items contain which essences, but nothing that lists specific items to put in the table to achieve the research element itself.

Hasn't it already been released? I've been playing the magic World for a while now, and I search the web constantly for such a list, but to no avail as of yet.

I hate to be a stick in the mud, but I am just not enjoying the research aspect of this particular mod. It's all so much guesswork and dropping random stuff in the table. Is there a cheat sheet, or would someone be willing to make one that list what items can be used in the research table to...

Not everyone plays multiplayer. I know I don't. And not every multiplayer admin will disable it. I've seen a lot of MP youtube videos where its not disabled.
