    So I have recently heard that the forge version for ftb is incopataitlbe with opitifine so I have decided to update my forge to 60.5.1.8. I am wonder erring how and will there be problems?

    A bit more info like java version, and os. First thing I would do is redownload the pack (backup your saves) and don't add optifne, because it might work for one verizon but not for another version. Judging from those words something is wrong with forge mod loader.

    You need java 64 bit to do that function, and you are gonna need a 64 bit os for java 64 bit
