    The Ultimate Tinkers Construct Tools

Paper has also lost a lot of it's relative power since the tier two tools have been introduced. For T2 tools, durability is affected by _every_ part, including the binding, so using paper has a significant drawback.

For the project table, there is the Project Bench mod that's really nice. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1550010-162sspsmp-project-bench-v180forge15000-downloads/

Yeah, redstone engines no longer work on anything except pipes and pumbs (AFAIK - there might be something else). I recommend for first engine, either a clockwork engine (costs 5 gold, 2 redstone, 1 iron); gives free energy at decent output (I think 3mj/t at full effect? unsure) but have to be...

ah harsh! my suggestion would be to keep it running and build another 36HP next to it. Heatup is very expensive, no need to let it go to waste by changing the existing boiler until the new one is up and running. The boilers are cheap anyway so.

That would have to be really recently. But are you sure they get fed properly? What's your setup?

How to trim out any EU related mods in Unleashed? (and play unleashed more generally)

Golden apples and potions of weakness aren't that expensive? I rarely have issues finding villages even in BoP worlds but if you have you can just capture two testificate zombies and cure them?

or make a villager farm and an automated wheat and chicken farm to get it as a renewable resource.

I tested right now; changing height of the boiler resets heat and steam, but you get to keep fuel and water. This works both if you add and remove height. Changing width resets everything.

    A new project.

You say you want things "how you like it". But you don't state how you like it... Then it's hard to really give any informed suggestions rather than just stating the most obvious ones (resonantrise and unleashed). What made you feel dissatisfied with other servers? What kind of stuff do you...

I _think_ (note think) that you can increase the vertical size without any issues (that is, not adding or removing fireboxes). So if you have an 4HP boiler you can increase it to a 8HP or 12HP boiler with no issues. I'm entirely unsure when it comes to increasing from to 4 or 9 fireboxes, I...

Long time players need new project

Have you tried delving into more advanced computercraft turtle contraptions? For example, making a self-replicating turtle factory? that is, it creates turtles, sets the turtles to gather resources for creating more turtles and for storing up resources until there's enough to build another...

    RedPower Bore and Chests

I don't think it would be impossible, but it would be much more complex. I think you'd have to have a moving borehead, that wasn't "solid" but rather had gaps where you have transposers, and then due to the movement everything gets broken anyway. I would not recommend it though.

I don't think I understand your question... An industrial steam engine produces max 8mj/t, a REC has a max input of 100 mj/t (or 12.5 industrial steam engines). It stores 100k mj, so with one industrial steam engine you'll fill it up in ten and a half minute. With the max input of 12.5...

unspunreality: I would suggest getting at least another MFSU, or four MFE's. I'd go with four MFE's since they're dirt cheap with gregtech, and hook up a dedicated MFE to each industrial grinder.

    Tinker's Contruct Info

Ah, that could be it... But it seems weird to multiply it like that. Especially if the others don't follow the same formula (especially the excavator and scythe which do the same). I mean, if you want complex and precise formulas you should probably use the same (or a related) for all purposes...

    Liquid metals could be AWESOME!

Mushroom taco's point is that a bucket occupies in the neighborhood of 7/9'ths of a block, and block of iron is made of 9 ingots. Thus, a bucket should be about 7/9's of 9 ingots, or 7 ingots. However, sizes are rarely proportional in minecraft, and also there's no evidence that a block if...

    Liquid metals could be AWESOME!

Well, nothing says storage blocks have to be solid ;) and there's many things deviating from having a consistent size; just look at the tanks themselves, they can contain far more than one block's worth of liquid. Even the TiC lava tanks are a single block but can take three or four cubic...

    Tinker's Contruct Info

Other than calculating it backwards which would be really obnoxious, you only have visual clues. If you look at the color you might be able to peg down one or a few materials it could be and calculate which? Post a picture otherwise and maybe we know?
