It installed wonderfully too, no hickups. I just dropped the jar into both my server and personal folders, rebooted, and now I've got all the stuff. With this clean an install, i'm waiting for a world corrupting error to set karma back to normal, lol.

I cant get /time or /give to work. As far as the syntax works, i've tried '/time' as well as just 'time' I'm positive it's a security issue, which kinda sucks. I wanted to make a command block on solar detector. When the sun goes down, I skip past the night.

Yeah, admin's an idiot. If you dont want someone to use something, disable it. There are a bunch of ways. I agree, chunk loaders are troublesome, but to claim "i'm shutting down the server because people wont follow the rules" is indicative of someone with deeper issues.

Thanks for the suggestion, but i dont have optifine. Plus, all players on my server are unable to trigger the effects of a command block. So I know it's not client side.

When i code servers, i sometimes put them into "offline mode" so i can login with junk accounts to test new player spawn areas, guest account credentials, and all those things i cant guarantee when using a seasoned account. With FTB, i cant figure out how to get my client into "offline" mode...

By chunk loaders, are you refering to anchors? Anchors keep a chunk loaded when the players have moved away from it. That means that all those blocks stay in memory (extra ram), all the water, lava, plant and animal calculations still happen ever tick (extra cpu).
