No, you are on the wrong horse there, buddy. The locked files are due to the mod writing information about the player and world constandly on disk. If the process freezes and gets terminated the lock is not removed. Thus the save can be corrupted and not accessed. I am trying to get this lock...

Hey Kroptik, My main problem is: i cannot even say what causes the crash. Is it NEI recipes, or shit clicking certain items into containers or just going afk for a short while (which crashed my game yesterday as i was forging thaumcraft nodes)? So if you can point it down more, and i will try...

Since the 0.8.8 update i have issues with the game. It keeps freezing. I can move but not access chests and inventories and such. The game does not crash, but cannot be closed normaly. After i removed the java process, certain files are still in use and locked down. Restarting the game is not...

Confirmed. We have the same problem here in a LAN world. The sash works fine for me, but not for the joining player.

After the THIRD creeper blew up essential parts of my base, ALTHOUGH i have serverals mob inhibitors in place, i lost the will of playing ... There shouldn't be any spawns at my base, there are no dark places and the inhibitors should stop special spawns ... but it is not working.

Planting trees ontop of your base is the best meteor defense. I call it Greenshield :D

I used FTb as well. Never had any problems with the mods. This is the first time this happens to a modpack. I guess the updated forge did the trick. Playing since i wrote the last post and no freezing until now. I can even shift click items into minechem ;)

I am playing the pack now for about an hour without freeze. Moved it to the multimc launcher, updated the chickencore and NEI and installed the new forge. :D

What i dont understand about this crash is, that i cannot copy or delete some of the folders content. Looks like some files are still "in use" and i have to reeboot the operating system to start the pack again or delete files ... tried updating NEI and ChickensCore.

Thx for replying, but i didn't shift click with the minechem items. I cannot even replicate the problem. It just happens. But at times i think, it has to do with NEI and the recipes. When the problem occours i cannot access certain inventories, mostly vanilla chests, barrels and functional...

And again it "froze"... while using minechem, pumping chemicals out with a transfernode into a sorting chest. Also i reinstalled the modpack and java before. I am done playing this mod ...

The modpack keeps freezing ... i am not sure why, but i guess it has to do with the NEI recipe for solars ... After freeze the game cannot be started again. The whole computer has to reboot before the session gets closed. No clue how to close it without restarting. Sometimes the save gets...
